1.Update, Update and Update

Keep in your mind that you would always need to update your Core / website. Host – providers are always releasing the patches, update as periodically.

Content Management System – CMS of your host / website will update you the latest patches or updates.

Don’t forget to update all required patches to keep your website without any issues.

2. Plugins and Themes

Although, Content Management system is running but attackers are targeting Vulnerabilities in plugin and themes to attack websites.

You need to always to check the latest version, patches of Plugin and Themes.

3. Maintain your Site Regularly

The big word is Backup. Yes. You should take regular back up of your site. Also ensure that your backups are getting stored in the Web Server to use in case of emergency.

4. Use Strong Password and Change it Regularly

Ensure that you password has Alpha – Numeric characters, Upper and Lower case and Symbols.
